The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Hosts the Annual Shiptek Awards

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted the annual Shiptek Conference and Awards in Al-Khobar  on 14th and 15th May 2024. The Transport General Authority (TGA), Saudi Arabia’s Port Authority MAWANI,  Saudi Red Sea Authority, and International Maritime Industries partnered to host the awards. Shiptek Conference brings together industry leaders to shape the future of maritime through insightful discussion and knowledge sharing.

Shiptek, is a leading maritime event that targets key decision-makers and high-level policy creators within the maritime Industry. ShipTek 2024 Maritime Conference focused on identifying key market trends, providing attendees with a unique insight into existing opportunities. The ShipTek International Awards, held in conjunction with the Conference, are considered the most prestigious awards within the maritime industry, which is the mainstay of ShipTek Events.

The Deputy of Transport Enablement Dr. Omaimah Bamasag of TGA provided the keynote speech opening the conference. She highlighted the pivotal role that women play in shaping the maritime industry.
